As a guest on Treaty One Territory, Jo Ann dedicates herself to treading with humility and a genuine desire to learn. She understands the importance of listening, respecting, and engaging with Indigenous peoples on Turtle Island in a spirit of openness and reconciliation. Rooted in her heritage, she embraces the Indigenous Filipino teaching of kapwa, which emphasizes the interconnectedness and shared identity of all people.
